This caramel-free caramel smoothie bowl is made possible by the use of dates and maca powder. The flavour and sweetness of the dates are very similar to caramel, which makes for a great alternative to sugar-laden caramel.
2 frozen bananas
2-3 fresh dates
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
150 ml plant milk
1 tsp maca powder
A good pinch of sea salt
caramel sea salt peanut butter (or regular peanut butter)
Place all smoothie ingredients in your high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Serve in your favourite Coconut Bowls, and top with your choice of toppings. Enjoy!
