RECIPE BY LEE FROM @theroguebrusselsprout

This Spicy Mango Salsa is a bowl full of sunshine! It has the perfect mixture of sweet, spicy, and fresh flavors and comes together in ten minutes with just a handful of ingredients.

For the Spicy Mango Salsa:

  • Ripe mango, cubed
  • Several very thinly sliced red baby bell peppers
  • Forkful of pickled red onions, finely chopped
  • Small handful of fresh mint, very finely chopped
  • Juice of half a lime
  • Generous flaky sea salt
  • Few or more pinches of cayenne, to taste

Directions:

  • Mix all of the ingredients together, then adjust the lime juice, salt, and cayenne to your own tastes.
  • The heat comes from cayenne, which you can easily adjust to your own tastes. Or, feel free to add in your hot peppers of choice (with caution).  This salsa works best with floral, fruity hot peppers that are orange or red in color.
