PB & Jam Breakfast Bowl

RECIPE BY HEALTHY LUXE

The classic peanut butter and jam but in a breakfast bowl. Nothing is more nostalgic than this combo.

INGREDIENTS [SERVES 2]

  • BREAKFAST BOWL
    • Oats, 1 cup (gluten-free)
    • Oat Milk, 2 cups
    • Filtered Water, 1/2 cup
    • Peanut Butter, 2 tbsp
    • Cinnamon, 1 tsp
    • Vanilla Bean Paste, 1 tsp
  • RASPBERRY COULIS
    • Raspberries, 1 cup
    • Orange Juice, 1/2 cup
    • Maple Syrup, 1 tbsp
    • Vanilla Bean Powder, 1/2 tsp

METHOD

  1. Firstly preparea raspberry coulis. Combine coulis ingredients in a saucepan and place over medium heat. Simmer for approx. 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Set aside and allow to cool
  2. Whilst cooling, combine all porridge ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring regularly for approx. 5 minutes. Add additional water or milk if required.
  3. Spoon into your favourite Coconut Bowl and top with coulis, peanut butter, banana and/or coconut flakes.
