Cacao Ginger and Walnut Smoothie

Another smoothie recipe that we'd love to share with you. Delicious, decadent and so easy to make! Recreate this recipe and serve this with your friends and family for a healthy chocolatey treat. 

SERVES 1

INGREDIENTS
  • Walnuts, 8
  • Pumpkin Seeds, 1 tbsp
  • Plant-based Milk, as needed
  • Fresh Ginger, 1 chunk
  • Cacao Powder, 1 tbsp
  • Date, 1
  • Banana, 1
  • Protein Powder, 1 heaped tbsp
  • Plant-based Milk, as needed
METHOD
  1. Combine the walnuts and pumpkins in a small bowl and add plant-based milk enough to cover everything. Leave to soak for a few minutes or as long as you can. It will still work fine without soaking though, it's just preferred for smoother texture.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients except the plant-based milk inside the blender. 
  3. Add plant-based milk enough to cover the ingredients.
  4. Blend until smooth and serve on a glass with a Bamboo Straw and add you toppings.
