Bowls are clean and nice enough to use as they are, but I will sand down to get the darker look of the finished bowls.
For the 8 out of 10 that were not broken i use coconut oil on them. Before and after the oil, the 2 that came in broken i did not bother putting oil on them. Other wise very nice bowls and i will order more. There was no need to even sand them 😄
